Divorce & Custody (Domestic Relations) Mediation Training
In response to the growing demand for professional mediators, the Mediation Training & Consultation Institute offers a comprehensive 40-hour, five-day hands-on training.

Through a combination of role play, lecture, simulation, discussion and videotapes of actual mediation, this workshop takes participants through the process of divorce and custody mediation from the orientation session to the completed memorandum of agreement. (See the Sample Workshop Schedule.)

This program has been approved by the following organizations:
- The Academy of Family Mediators/Association for Conflict Resolution as a 40-hour comprehensive divorce mediation training program. This training may be applied toward the requirements for practicioner membership in the association.
- The State Court Administrative Office of the Michigan Supreme Court as a Domestic Relations Mediation Training Program under Michigan Court Rule 3.216.
- This course has been approved by the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education for 37.25 total CLE hour(s), with 0.00 of ethics, 1.25 of professionalism and 0.00 of substance abuse instruction.
